Theatre:  Costume Design, Set Design, Scenic Painting

My Masters of Fine Arts is from the University of South Carolina with a major in Costume Design.  Six years of my corporate background was with Walt Disney Entertainment's Creative Costuming Team.  I served as a Sketch Artist working closely with our three in house designers to help bring artwork from thumbnail to final art.  Additionally, I created mood boards to present to upper management.  I've also worked on several projects with the Disney Art Department, including the newest artwork for the Spectacle of Lights.  As a freelance costume designer, I've designed over 25 productions and worked on others in various capacities from set designer, scenic painter, craftsperson, dyer-painter, draper, and stitcher.  I've worked for the Asolo Repertory Theatre, Mad Cow Theatre, American University in Cairo, Egypt, Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Orlando Repertory Theatre, and more.

Fashion: Technical Sketches & Garment Design/Construction

The technical side of my career while at Disney was with Gerber's WebPDM.  I was responsible for technical sketches, streamlining the procurement process of Operational Costuming and Entertainment Costuming.  This streamlining lead me to work with our fellow partners in both California and Paris to sync up all of our practices.   By creating line sheets in WebPDM for every costume on property, we built an enormous data structure of sourcing, procurement, technical sketches, and final photography.
